I had a lovely time enjoying the super comfy beds and the spacious rooms, not to mention the handy shared kitchen on our floor for making snacks. The place is perfect for unwinding with a cozy lounge and a charming patio to relax on. Just wish the reception was a bit more accessible after hours, but overall, it didn’t diminish our stay! 😊

Staying with a group of friends was awesome! We loved the beautiful view over the canal and the delicious breakfast options. The location was perfect for visiting the Dutch National Opera & Ballet and exploring nearby cafes. Definitely recommend the cozy bar for a nightcap!
We had a hiccup during check-in. there was no one at the reception when we arrived, which was frustrating. It took a while to get help, and it would have been easier if they had more staff available during busy hours.

No air conditioning in the room, making it tough during warmer days!!! Opening the window exposes you to noise from the restaurant below. Limited reception amenities are frustrating, especially with no restrooms after check-out!!!

missingWrote a review on 02 Auginteresting decorlively atmospherenoise issues
The rooms offer a unique vibe with plenty of interesting decor. The hotel seems to have a lively atmosphere, especially with the communal spaces available for guests to relax in after a day of exploring.
Noise issues are a major drawback. you can hear ventilation pipes clattering above you during the day, and even at night, the sound of party music from the restaurant carries into the rooms. Additionally, the location feels a bit disconnected, requiring a lengthy walk to reach main attractions, which can be tedious. Also, the door sensor alarm frequently goes off, requiring some effort to get it to stop, adding annoyance to your comings and goings.

the hotel got a mini bar you can trust for drinks after a long day. the showers need an upgrade because both spray you at once.

I stayed in a spacious double room. I enjoyed the large desk for working and the clean amenities. The location was convenient for exploring the area, and I appreciated the shared kitchen. I had a nice time relaxing in the lounge after a day out. One minor issue was the noise from the nearby restaurant, but it did not interrupt my sleep. My accent did stand out. I'm sure the locals knew I was from New York.

The comfortable Deluxe Room offered a spacious and clean environment, enhanced by friendly front desk staff who were always helpful. Although the area was a bit distant from the city center, the pleasant 15-minute walk to the train station was a nice way to experience local surroundings. However, breakfast service was lacking, as many dirty plates were left unattended, detracting from the overall experience. Nevertheless, the unique setting within a repurposed building added a charming touch to this stay.

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed our 4-night stay in a cozy double room with lovely canal views. A memorable aspect was the inviting communal lounge perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. However, be prepared for some mosquito battles, especially with the windows open! I'd recommend bringing repellent.
